11/5/00 – 11/11/00
Week of November 5th, 2000
Week as a Whole:
Tuesday evening, just as election results are coming in and being tabulated, Mercury stands still above us and resumes normal motion. (N.B. the Singapore Airline crash is a worst case example of Mercury Retrograde’s tricks on the mind.) A glitch in recording votes is possible, so is a vote being decided in the Electoral College or a vote in which the winner has lost the popular vote and won the electoral vote. In our daily lives, finding those lost keys or directions will be a welcome relief from the 3 weeks of Mercury mischief. Without space to do a detailed analysis, I predict that Bush will win the election. Both candidates’ horoscopes show the high stress one would expect at this historic moment in both their lives, but Gore’s indicates a major shock and re-structuring of his life, unlike Bush who appears to finesse the same energy of change represented by Uranus. Also this week, the Sun forms a right angle with this same Uranus offering all of us a chance to re-think and re-focus our purpose. This pressure to make change continues through the Full Moon on Saturday when all will be revealed….well, almost all.
Sunday 11/5/00
The Moon is Void from 8:26am/11:26am until 11:13am/2:13pm when she enters Pisces. After 3 days under an Aquarius Moon, this is a re-entry into our feelings and emotions. A period of confusion and blurred thinking begins that lasts through Wednesday.
Monday 11/6/00
Expect misunderstanding and miscommunication today and tomorrow. Don’t trust your hunches this morning, the afternoon will feel better and expressing our feelings is easier.
Tuesday 11/7/00
The Moon is Void from 6:04pm/9:04pm until 9:02pm/12:02am just as results are accumulating in the election. Double check your vote; be extra careful not to pull the wrong lever in the booth. Deep breaths and careful review will help. Mercury resumes normal motion at 6:28pm/9:28pm.
Wednesday 11/8/00
Sun and Uranus at right angles may bring another incident of sudden explosive change, and the potential for confusion is very high. This will come to a final peak with Saturday’s Full Moon. On a personal level the issue is freedom, so give people plenty of room to move and express themselves. Give yourself room too.
Thursday 11/9/00
This is the least active day this week: a continuation of yesterday’s themes and issues.
Friday 11/10/00
Mars and Neptune are in tune early this morning. Our dreams may lead us into new areas…if you keep track. Starting new projects may be trickier than usual; the direct approach may not be the best.
Saturday 11/11/00
After noon we’re out of the tunnel of violence and sudden change. It’s time to pick up the pieces and re-assemble the deconstructed parts. Of course not all of us act these energies out, some of us are just spectators to the action in lives around us.
